Administrative building with enclosed staff car park

A new-build administrative building composed of two interpenetrating volumes: a single-storey enclosed staff car park on grids 1–5 with a clear height of 6.50 to 7.70 m, and a two-storey administrative block on grids 5–7 at 3.00 m storey height. Rectangular on plan, 33.8 × 12.8 m including the projecting plinth, no basement. Structure is a steel frame on hot-rolled I-section columns over a monolithic reinforced concrete raft, with precast concrete floor slabs across the administrative part.

Envelope: three-layer sandwich panels 150 mm with a basalt mineral wool core, R = 3.08 m²K/W, to EN 14509 — the same system to walls and to the monopitch non-trafficable roof. PVC windows with two-cavity insulating glazing, R = 0.64 m²K/W, tilt-and-turn, airborne sound reduction 34 to 36 dB(A). The car park is served by two automatic sectional doors 3 500 × 4 000 mm; the main entrance at +0.900 has a canopy, external steps and an access ramp with handrails.

Delivered as a 14-sheet AutoCAD package to metric ISO conventions — floor plans, sections, elevations, door and window schedules, the façade colour scheme on sheets 12 to 14 (grey panels, darker grey sectional doors, contrasting terracotta entrance canopy, white frames) and 3D general arrangement views issued for design approval.
